Dr. Ole Blomberg (Ole pronounced Oh-lee) was born in Bartow, Florida and was raised in a military family. His father was an anesthetist for the Army and later worked at the Window Rock Hospital at Ft Defiance, AZ (not too far from Farmington). Ole was one of four children; two sisters and a brother. He has always been a sports lover, was the center on the high school football team, a shortstop in baseball, and a super hoopster. He graduated from the 15th school he attended (due to Dad's military travel) and then began college. Being an Army "brat" afforded travel opportunities which he may not have had otherwise. He has visited Italy, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Mexiso and Canada. He graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN and the following year taught high school biology and junior high science in Macon Georgia. There he met the love of his life, Rene. It wasn't long before Ole realized teaching was not for him and two years later he was the valedictorian of his Respiratory Therapy class in Roanoke, VA. After working in that health field for a year, he again realized, that he was still not in the right field. That fall he was a first year dental student at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.

By graduation, he and Rene had two beautiful daughters, Logan Elizabeth now attending his Alma Mater, Trevecca U. majoring in music and Avery Rene, who attends Wilson Central High and plans to make a career in the dental field. Rene works along side Dr. Ole in the office and Doc Ole has found life as close to perfect as humanly possible! The family has a real passion for Kenya and has been there several times on mission trips also to Panama.

Dr. Blomberg has been in the Nashville area since 2006 It was like coming home as he recognized so miny sights and sounds of his college days. He enjoys the four seasons, hunting in the beautiful wilderness areas of Tennessee, the awesome beauty of the tree-covered hill-sides, motorcycles, jeeps, speed boats and a wide variety of sports, especially football and golf. And, of course, we cannot leave out the Grand Ole Opry but his greatest passion would have to be his love of Jesus Christ, sharing and giving love to his wife and daughters.

Music is another passion-- Ole has been singing all his life (well-- since about age 6, anyway). He has sung in churches, on TV and radio all over the land. Although a great soloist, he does duets, trios and sang bass in The Soldiers quartet. He is a member of the Hermitage Church of the Nazarene choir.

There are a lot of people in the world that need help. A lot of those people need dental help. Knowing that we all need to help where we can and and he feels that he can help some of the poor in Kenya. So-- he has an on-going project to get help to those on the other side of the earth-- Doc Ole tries to live his life patterened after John Wesley who said Do all the good you can for all you can whenever you can. What a credo!

Drama! Ole loves the stage! He has been in several skits and plays over the years. For three years, he participated in the Passion Play in Farmington, NM where, the spring of 2005, he played the part of Christ. He has also been heard on a Farmington radio station DJ-ing Christian music.
